A great day out for all the family this summer!
Zycomm are proudly sponsoring the PCFWW Learn to Fish event on Sunday 4th August 2019. The show is open to all abilities with free admission and free parking!
The event takes place at Press Manor Fishing Lakes in Ashover, Derbyshire and can be found on the Sat Nav on S45 0LQ. Stewards will be on hand to teach kids* how to coarse fish in 15 minute slots with all necessary fishing equipment provided. 300 children attended the event in 2018.
*Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This is a fantastic event for experienced and non-experienced anglers to attend with their families to introduce them to fishing and pass on their joy to the younger generation. There will be casting demonstrations throughout the day including coarse fishing and fly fishing as well as trout cooking demonstrations. There will also be Trade Stands and the chance to take a closer look at the bug life (Entomology).
Environment Agency Rod Licences for the day are free for under 13’s. To make sure you have the correct licence for over 13’s visit the events page on the PCFWW website www.pcfww.co.uk/events.
Zycomm Communications are providing hire radios for the event which will be used by approved personnel including Derbyshire Police Wildlife Crime Officers, St John First Aiders, and Stewards.
