Bradwells Skips was established in 1985 and have provided over 30 years of service to national and local companies. The company is still family owned and family operated. Bradwells are able to supply a wide range of skip sizes from 2yd mini skips to 40yd roll on and roll offs. They also offer Waste Disposal, Haulage and Scrap Clearance services.
Bradwells deliver skips throughout the city of Sheffield and required better and more reliable communication at all times between their HGV fleets and the Company’s base which is located centrally in the city.
The radio set up that Bradwells had before Zycomm’s work was an old analogue system that had become outdated, the coverage and reception needed by the team to keep production running efficiently at all times was no longer adequate.
Zycomm were tasked with providing a new digital system that would enhance Bradwells’ reception, coverage and improve their overall communication.
After a thorough site survey, Zycomm were able to recommend a Hytera digital system with fixed mobile units and a repeater. This would improve the quality of the reception and provide better overall coverage across the whole city.
A new antenna system was also installed at the Company’s Head Office to increase the size of coverage alongside the improved quality.
Since the move over to digital radios from analogue, Bradwells Skips have seen a massive improvement on a number of levels. The coverage from Bradwells’ transport office to their drivers has been increased and the quality of transmission has improved tenfold.
